HEALTH ECONOMICS AND OUTCOMES RESEARCH (HEOR) Consultant

We are hiring a Consultant, with the flexibility to be based out of our Gurgaon/ Hyderabad office, to join our rapidly growing firm. As a Consultant, you will lead ongoing projects and associated client engagements at local, regional, and global levels – individually or as project team leader – including initiating the engagement with the client as well as overseeing the project delivery. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, detail-oriented and organized, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-lead projects and associated client engagements – alone or as a project team leader
  • Be able to draft proposals and address client queries towards achieving a successful outcome of securing the project
  • Develop (ab-initio) and adapt health economic models (cost effectiveness, cost-utility, cost-minimization and budget impact models)
  • Identify, extract, analyze and summarize data from a range of sources; conduct systematic and targeted literature reviews to gather inputs for economic models
  • Lead ANSEA team to make model submissions to HTA agencies primarily in APAC region but also countries in other regions as needed
  • Write detailed model technical reports for HE models
  • Perform adaptations of the models developed for global submissions
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables and achievement of key milestones as per client requirements and ANSEA standards
  • Contribute to company initiatives related to marketing, communication, and business development
  • Conform to professional standards and strict client confidentiality

Requirements & Qualification
  • Master’s degree in science, pharmacy, public health, economics, statistics, mathematics or operations research
  • Experience of 3 – 5 years within consulting firms, market research, pharma / medtech industry, scientific and public health institutions – in developing and adapting health economic models
  • Strong understanding of fundamental statistical concepts and methods and familiarity with techniques such as development of predictive equations, survival analysis, data analysis, meta-analysis, mixed treatment comparison, and other hierarchical analysis techniques
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills (both internally and with clients)
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to draw strategic recommendations
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize projects to accommodate changing priorities and deliver high quality output during tight timelines
  • Ability to work independently as well as lead a project team on defined tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Fluency in oral and written English (any additional language would be beneficial).
