ANSEA MD Anand Jha spoke at a virtual Roundtable Discussion organized by Stratbase Albert del Rosario Institute, on the importance of stakeholder engagement and collaboration to drive better access to treatment for Rare Disease Patients.

After coordinated and tireless advocacy led by multiple civil society partners and NGOs, the very first UN resolution was passed on 16th December 2021, to address the challenges of PLWRD (persons living with a rare disease). This will go a long way toward helping more than 300mn rare disease patients worldwide, which are a vulnerable group, constantly at risk of stigmatization and discrimination.
